WelcomeFor most of my adult life I've been an independent writer and lecturer, working with and through various organizations. What I try to do, mostly, is explore difficult subjects that I think are important and exciting and make them more accessible to the non-specialist. I do some teaching occasionally, but have never been a full-time faculty member. Currently I'm working on several projects including a new book about the rapid changes taking place in the co-evolution of Earth and the human species.
